Equipped with Sagetech’s Mode-S micro-transponder on board, Primoco UAV demonstrated the first successful BVLOS-flight of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) under an all-European LUC operating in German military airspace.
On June 8th, 2022, Primoco UAV announced the first successful BVLOS-flight of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) under an all-European LUC while regular air traffic proceeded in the German military airspace.
Primoco flew the versatile fixed-wing UAV Primoco One 150. Suited to a range of tasks with its take-off weight of 150 kg, a payload of 30 kg and an operation time of more than 15 hours non-stop in the air, the UAV Primoco One 150 was also equipped with Sagetech’s mode-S micro-transponder.
The MXS was an obvious choice in terms of transponder. Its low SWaP (only 190g!), ADS-B In/Out capabilities in the same box as well as its full power output, allowed UAV Primoco One 150 to fly safer and longer.
